FN509 tactical pistol, changed the traditional design and was born to adapt to the market

FN’s pistol products have always been in an awkward position in the American civilian market. The FNP series of pistols launched in 2003 and the FNX series of pistols launched in 2009 have not sold well. In recent years, the company has changed its design style. The FNS series pistols with firing pin firing have been developed by the trend of the times. The FN509 is an evolution of the FNS series pistols. FN has introduced the FN509 tactical pistol that can be equipped with a miniature red dot sight in due course.

Simulating car battle scenes, with good controllability, full of tactical atmosphere after installing red dot sight, silencer and tactical lights

The FN509 pistol uses a firing pin firing method, and its locking structure is based on the classic Browning barrel offset modification. With this kind of firing method, there are relatively few parts, which makes the whole gun lighter and thinner, and the structure is simpler.

The sleeve seat is made of polymer material, which reduces the use of metal parts. There are large anti-skid patterns on the left and right sides of the front and rear parts. Even if you wear gloves, it will not affect the normal push and pull of the sleeve. The polymer sleeve seat is embedded with a steel slide rail to guide the sleeve to move back and forth. There is a Picatinny rail under the front of the sleeve seat, and accessories such as laser pointer or tactical light can be installed.

The barrel is cold-forged from stainless steel. The muzzle is equipped with threads and can be equipped with mufflers and other muzzle devices. The barrel is also equipped with internal chamfers to prevent accidental knocks from damaging the rifling. The barrel adopts a low-axis design to ensure that the shooter can obtain a good sight of sight in any shooting situation.

The gun body disassembly lever is installed above the trigger and on the left side of the sleeve seat, while the empty warehouse hook release lever and the magazine catch are provided on both sides of the gun body, which is convenient for left and right hand operation. The sleeve seat on the outside of the empty warehouse hook release lever is provided with a reinforcing rib protrusion, which can prevent the empty warehouse hook release lever from being accidentally touched. The elongated exposed shell hook can also be used as a bullet indicator. The trigger is equipped with a built-in hinged safety device to prevent accidental triggering and misfire.

The front and back of the front sight and the rear sight are installed on the top of the sleeve through a dovetail slot, and a tritium light tube is installed at the rear of the sight, and a tritium light tube is also installed behind the rear sight to facilitate aiming under poor light conditions.

The top of the FN 509 tactical pistol sleeve is equipped with a miniature red dot sight mount. It adopts the LPOMS Low Profile Optics Mounting System (Low Profile Optics Mounting System). The matching piece and mounting screws are compatible with about 10 red dot sights of different brands. And this system also comes standard with desert color sleeve cover. When the optical sight is not in use, the sleeve cover can be installed on the top of the sleeve at the position of the red dot sight mount. At this time, the sleeve of the gun is no different from that of a normal pistol. In addition, the left and right sides of this sleeve cover are equipped with “wings” to prevent the rear sight from being displaced due to accidental bumps. In addition, anti-skid patterns are provided on the front of the wings on the left and right sides of the sleeve cover, so that when the operation is inconvenient, the shooter can pull the sleeve backward with the help of the hook of foreign objects. It is worth noting that an O-shaped rubber ring is provided between the red dot sight adapter and the sleeve .
