MSI launches B550 micro-impulse/torpedo motherboard for Ryzen 5000 processor
MSI has launched the MAG B550M VECTOR WIFI micro-impression and MAG B550 TORPEDO torpedo motherboards for the Ryzen 5000 processor.
The MAG B550M VECTOR WIFI microfluidic board is a member of the MAG arsenal family, and its name comes from the dagger submachine gun VECTOR of the KRISS gun company. The MAG B550M VECTOR WIFI micro-impact board is positioned close to the MAG B550 BAZOOKA rocket launcher. The power supply adopts the classic 4+2+1 power supply design. In terms of memory, a special dual DIMM slot design is adopted, which supports up to 64GB DDR4 memory. Although dual DIMMs are not as good as 4DIMM slots in terms of scalability, the fewer memory DIMM slots, the more likely it is to hit high frequencies.
The MAG B550 TORPEDO torpedo board is the brother of the Tomahawk missile. Its general configuration is the same as that of the Tomahawk missile, including sound card, M.2, PCI-E channel, etc. In terms of power supply, the torpedo board is powered in parallel with 10+2, and with a single 60A DRMOS material, it can easily run 12-core and 16-core Ryzen 9 processors. The PCB is a 6-layer board + 2 ounces of copper foil, the memory is DDR4, and the maximum overclocking can reach 5100MHz. The M.2 aspect is a full-speed design of PCI-E 4.0x4 and PCI-E 3.0x4.
